Orthopedic Foundation for Animals  - OFA

Prior to breeding your dog it is imperative that you have OFA xrays done to be sure your dog's hips are not dysplastic.  This is a congenital defect that can be passed from generation to generation.  Dr. McMillan is a board certified Veterinary Radiologist and has been doing radiographs for over 40 years.  She does not anesthetize but in fact uses sedation in order to position the dog.  Proper positioning is vital to make the proper diagnosis.   An immediate interpretation by Dr. McMillan is available prior to submitting to Orthopedic Foundation for Animals for certification.   Please call our office for further details.
